A split system is an air conditioner which has had its two major components separated, to give you the benefits of powerful unit while keeping noise levels inside your home to a minimum. The compressor which is the heart of the system will be mounted outside of your house, so that you will not hear it.

The indoor head pictured above is what will be mounted inside the room you want heated or cooled. The filters are located behind the front panel and are easily removed for cleaning. For people who want the best in filtration systems, look for plasma filters or ion filters which do a better job than conventional filters.
